Experience
I earned my graduate degree in foreign languages, literature, and Spanish culture. I am passionate about languages in general and Spanish specifically. I love having the opportunity to help my students fully understand the beauty of the language which involves the why as much as the how. I currently tutor students in Spanish, AP Spanish literature and culture, Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Spanish 3, Spanish 4, conversational Spanish, and languages. My tutoring style is patient and systematic. I am an experienced language teacher and tutor and I bring patience and kindness to all of my interactions with students. In addition to teaching others about the linguistic beauty of the language I am also deeply interested in the great literature of the culture. I studied this in depth in my graduate program and for the last several years I have been teaching Spanish courses at the collegiate level. However, I work with all ages. One of the most enjoyable things I have done has been to teach Spanish to preschool students. The love of learning and the ease with which children as young as three or four are able to pick up a new language is breathtaking and a joy to participate in.
