I earned my degree in geological sciences from Arizona State University. I have always been drawn to geology because I'm intrigued by the way math, physics, and chemistry are used for real-world applications. I believe I can leverage this passion for geology to educate students who aren't getting what they need in the classroom.As a tutor, I have helped students in their early teens and above in science and math. I can also help students improve their learning in the areas of calculus, geometry, chemistry, physics, astronomy, writing, literature, grammar and mechanics, social studies, science, math, and reading comprehension. I am additionally adept in helping students prepare for standardized tests such as the ACT, SAT, and graduate test prep. Specifically, I like working with students to help them get ready for their high school AP tests. That's something I'm very familiar with on a personal level. Outside the classroom, I enjoy being outdoors. I enjoy backpacking, fishing, boating, gardening, and camping. I also like to read and cook. I currently reside in Tempe, Arizona.
