I live in Tempe, Arizona, where I also work as a math coach. I assist students who need clarification and help with their math assignments. I also have experience in assessing the individual needs and learning levels of my students so I can assist them in overcoming any obstacles they encounter that prevent them from participating in class. During my time as a math coach, I have found that many students experience certain difficulties, such as poor time management skills, learning disabilities, absences, not having perquisite skills, and bad study habits that can make learning and understanding math more challenging. My goal is to help them to overcome those issues.I love math, how it applies to different fields, and how it can be used in everyday applications for problem solving. Although I have a great appreciation for math, I understand that Calculus and Abstract Algebra are not necessary for one to be successful. I believe in helping students find common ground in math so they can learn how to use and understand it effectively. I can tutor in many subjects, including Algebra, Calculus, Elementary and Middle School Math, Arithmetic, and Trigonometry.In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games, classic science fiction, and learning to draw.
