Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I consider myself to be a vagabond who travels whenever the opportunity arises. My first big move landed me in Miami, Florida, where I attended Florida International University. Upon graduating, I taught English to middle school and high school students for more than two years. In August 2014, Phoenix, Arizona, became my next destination. I decided it was time to move on and became a founding teacher at a new charter school that I helped open. I helped develop the school's curriculum, mentored my colleagues, worked with 6th grade students by teaching them all of the core subjects, and taught dance to 6th and 7th grade students. I currently reside in Tempe, Arizona. When it comes to my tutoring skills, I provide assistance to those in need of help with reading, writing, literature, grammar and mechanics, public speaking, math, and English. I also tutor in college essay writing as well as assist in editing the essays. In my spare time, you can find me dancing. I have always loved to dance and to teach people how to dance! I love sports and the outdoors, which I attribute to my three older brothers. I also enjoy reading, especially comics like Calvin and Hobbes.
