Education
I am currently a PhD student at ASU with a 4.0 GPA. I graduated Cum Laude with a BA from The College of New Jersey and from The Ohio State University with my Master's Degree. My degree is in the interdisciplinary field of Women and Gender Studies.
Experience
I have a background in Elementary Education, but have also taught college courses for over three years; thus lesson planning, encouraging critical thinking, and evaluation are strengths of mine. I am patient, organized, prompt, and dedicated. While I am focused on student growth, I am also very approachable, warm, flexible, and open to working with students at their own pace! I was trained to teach SAT and GRE Prep and have materials to work with students to improve their scores. I feel confident tutoring Math, Reading, and Writing for these tests. I'm also happy to work with students in the following areas: study skills; assisting with homework completion; writing and editing essays; resume, cover letter, and job interview preparation; and Spanish language learning (basic).
