I attended Colorado College for my bachelor's degree in biology. As an undergraduate, I was able to study advanced science and math courses, along with Spanish and English. I was also able to spend time in Costa Rica studying Spanish. I recently took the dental aptitude test and scored very well on it, and I'm considering a career in dentistry. My broad academic background allows me to tutor a wide array of topics, but I particularly enjoy helping students learn science topics and Spanish. Courses I can tutor include algebra one and two, elementary and middle school math, biology, chemistry, microbiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, calculus one and two, and of course Spanish. I can also provide test taking techniques and other skills as I help students prepare for standardized tests like the SAT, PSAT, and others. I have four years of tutoring experience helping my peers at Colorado College through their unique study program. I will work alongside students to create lessons catered to the learning style and needs of each student to help them learn effectively and achieve success. In my free time, I enjoy fitness, fishing, hiking, playing sports, ecology, biotechnology, travel, and innovation.
