Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Emory University. From there, I moved on to Arizona State University, where I earned my master's degree in Elementary Education, along with my teaching certification. I taught elementary age students for four years, in different grades and subjects. My focus now is STEM education, in my profession, and I can tutor students in a variety of STEM subjects. I am also qualified to and have had success at tutoring students in English subjects, social studies subjects, and others. I have also had success tutoring students who are studying to take standardized tests such as the ISEE, SSAT, and others. I tutor in a few different IB and AP subjects, as well as basic study skills like time management and organization. It is my belief that every student has the ability to learn and succeed in their academic pursuits. Each student has an individual way of learning, and it is my duty as a tutor to use teaching methods that cater to this. This way, students are far more likely to remain interested and engaged in their learning. Outside of teaching, I enjoy such hobbies as rock climbing, hiking, and camping.
