Experience
I began tutoring in language while I earned my degree in accounting. I am employed as an accountant at a CPA firm. I am enrolled in a teaching program to earn my secondary education certification, though I tutor in my free time. I primarily tutor in accountancy, Russian, Spanish, and English, though I do work with students in related topics. I believe that foreign languages provide invaluable communication and intellectual skills that are necessary to our success. Whether my student is aiming to pass their AP Spanish 4 course or improve their conversational Russian for an upcoming trip, we can work together on a personalized learning plan that puts them on the path to achieve their goal. I collaborate with each student on a one-on-one basis to learn their learning style, personality, interests, strengths, and weaknesses. I use a flexible teaching style that allows me to accommodate individual learning needs and adjust on the fly. I tutor students in calculus, business, algebra, and English courses as well as assist in essay editing. When I'm not working, tutoring, or studying, I enjoy catching up on my favorite television shows. I am an avid reader and I enjoy going on walks.
