I earned a B.A. in English and minor in German from the University of Dallas, a rigorous liberal arts university, in 2014. I graduated with a 3.7 overall GPA. My English B.A. program covered classical Western literary tradition. I studied Homer, Dante, Chaucer, Shakespeare, Pope, Austen, Wordsworth, Hardy, and Joyce, among others. I received commendations from my professors for my insightful literary analysis and excellent writing skills.

I am a professional freelance writer and editor who offers English tutoring on the side. I love working with students on their reading and writing skills, since I consider these skills so vital to their academic and professional futures. I began my career as an English and German tutor for students from preschool to college age - both private sessions and classes at a tutoring center. I worked as a live-in English teacher for a family in Munich, Germany for a year and earned my TESOL/TEFL certification in 2015. I also worked at an independent publishing house after graduation from college, reading and reviewing book manuscripts.
