I recently earned my bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and am now pursuing my master's degree in the same field at Arizona State University. I love both learning and sharing what I learn with others. I tutor a variety of courses, but I specialize in teaching quantitative subjects. I enjoy these courses myself, because I like to look at them like complicated puzzles that I must solve by choosing the right methods from my personal "tool belt" of them. I like tutoring other students in these courses, because many students find them difficult, and I like helping them build their confidence in their learning abilities by mastering the courses they thought they could not. I also strive to help them learn to enjoy the courses, like I do. I strive to help my students achieve success in not only their studies, but in their entire lives.I have been working on a research project that is aimed at finding more direct drug-delivery routes for important medications. The project also involves developing a way to count cells. I find this project fascinating. When not teaching or studying, I enjoy reading, rock climbing, practicing yoga, and solving puzzles. I am also a huge dog-lover.
