I am a recent graduate from the University of Arizona, where I earned my master's degree in the field of Physiological Sciences. As an undergraduate at the same school, I minored in both Chemistry and Math. I have a good deal of experience tutoring students who have learning disabilities and come from a wide range of schooling backgrounds. During college, I also served as a teacher's assistant in a laboratory for undergrads. Science and Math are my fields of expertise, specifically subjects like Trigonometry, Algebra, Chemistry, Physiology, and Biology. Other subjects that I have some level of comfort teaching include Psychology, Music, Business, Economics, and the Social Sciences. I also have experience helping students as they write essays and prepare for standardized exams like the SAT. My main goal when I tutor is not only to teach the material at hand but also to find ways to make the process of learning fun and enjoyable for the students. When I am not working as a tutor, I like to spend much of my time getting lost in great books.
